12.5 years of fortop UK
We know, it's not quite a British tradition, but we’re celebrating it anyway!
On November 10th, 2012, we sat with Steven Hill, Marc Stanesby and Harmen Sikkema at our solicitor’s office in Worcester. That day, fortop UK was officially founded.
Back then, the entire fortop group – across the Netherlands, Belgium, and our brand-new UK office – counted just 16 people. We were much smaller – and yes, quite a bit younger too!
Today, we’re proud to say fortop has grown into a strong, international team of over 70 specialists. In the UK, we’ve built a sales office with deep technical expertise and a clear position in the market.
So why are we posting now? Well… in the Netherlands, 12.5 years of service is actually a thing – a traditional milestone worth celebrating. We call it a ‘copper anniversary’. Our British followers might question the half-year celebration… but as the Dutch parent company, we like to honour our own quirky customs.
One thing we all agree on: our energy, curiosity and drive to help customers with optimal technology are as strong as ever – maybe even stronger than in 2012.
Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey. We’re just getting started. The best is yet to come!
