Always home happy after a working day!

As a technical support assistant, I answer customer queries as soon as they become technical. I figure things out for the customer if something is not working and make test setups. For example, if the customer has problems connecting a safety relay, I look for diagrams for it or if the customer wants adjustments in the configuration of his energy meter, I take over his PC remotely and then make the desired adjustments. When a customer contacts me, I try to get clear what exactly the problem is. And then solve that problem. I also make quotations. So actually quite a varied job.

After studying electrical engineering at HBO level, I went to work for a machine builder. My tasks were programming PLCs, setting frequency converters and testing vision systems. My twin brother Arjan was able to stay at fortop after his internship and started working as technical support. He always came home so happy after a working day. I wanted that too! After talking to Elisabeth, I immediately felt welcome and started working in Zwartsluis fairly quickly.

My twin brother has the same position in the company, where we have our own specialisation. From the first day at fortop, it felt familiar. I really feel it's a team. You notice that everyone motivates each other to get the best out of themselves.

In my spare time, I enjoy sports, including tennis and football. I also enjoy playing board games with friends over a (special) beer. Other hobbies include photography, chess and reading.
