Compact safety control for speed and standstill
The SAFEONE DS from DINA Elektronik combines speed monitoring, standstill detection and classic safety functions such as emergency stop and door monitoring in one compact module. Where several devices are normally required, a single controller of only 22.5 millimetres wide is now sufficient. This saves space in the control cabinet and simplifies installation.
Flexible use across different machines
The SAFEONE DS has been developed for machines where moving parts must come to a safe and controlled stop. Typical applications include conveyors, centrifuges, mixers and woodworking machines. The module monitors speed and detects whether a drive has completely stopped before, for example, a door or cover can be opened. This effectively prevents mechanical hazards without unnecessary downtime or complex wiring.
Simple configuration without programming
Safety functions are configured via the free GO:BEYOND software (download here). With the integrated USB interface, parameters can easily be set and adjusted without programming knowledge or additional tools. The module supports sin/cos and TTL encoders and achieves a safety level up to PL d according to EN ISO 13849-1, meeting the requirements of modern machine safety.
