In line with international standards
The RDMOL obstacle lighting series complies with international ICAO and FAA guidelines for low-intensity Type A, B and E obstruction lighting. These standards define the lighting requirements for tall structures to ensure air traffic safety. According to these standards, RDMOL low-intensity lights may be used up to a height of 45 metres. This makes the RDMOL series a reliable choice for industrial applications such as tall chimney stacks.

The RDMOL series is specifically developed for stable, non-moving applications. Think of tall buildings, cranes, masts and wind turbines that must remain visible 24/7. The durable aluminium enclosure and impact-resistant lens provide optimal protection against weather, wind and vibration. With the IP66 rating, the lights are completely dust-tight and waterproof, suitable for the most demanding environments.
Two versions
The RDMOL series is available in two versions:

RDMOL 110–240 V AC, suitable for fixed installations such as buildings or industrial sites.

RDMOL 24 V AC/DC, suitable for battery-powered use, for example in off-grid or emergency applications.
Types
The RDMOL series can be configured via a DIP switch to operate as low-intensity Type A, B or E obstruction lighting. Type A and B produce steady red light with a minimum intensity of 10 and 32 candelas respectively, while Type E is a flashing variant with a minimum intensity of 32 candelas. The lights deliver a bright, uniform 360° light signal with minimal maintenance needs and an exceptionally long service life, meeting the high standards of safety and reliability.
