The New Generation Encoders: EXO58 & EXM58 with Energy Harvesting Technology
The new EXO series encoders feature highly precise optical sensor technology, while the EXM series is equipped with robust magnetic detection. These new products from Lika Electronic come in a wide range of mechanical versions, including both fixed and hollow shaft versions with diameters ranging from 6 mm to 15 mm and various mounting systems.
Suitable for Heavy Industrial Environments
The encoders have an industrial flange housing of 58 mm with IP65 protection, making them suitable for the most demanding industrial conditions with a temperature range from -25 °C to +85 °C.
Energy Harvesting Technology
An important element of this new series is the integration of Energy Harvesting Technology. As a result, this series is lighter and more compact because it no longer requires a backup battery or a mechanical gear system to maintain the position during power outages. Furthermore, the risk of mechanical failures is significantly reduced.
Communication Interfaces
The EXO58 & EXM58 series are not only advanced in design and function but also offer flexibility and connectivity. With compatibility for Ethernet interfaces such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, POWERLINK, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link, these encoders are designed to seamlessly integrate into modern industrial networks.
