The agricultural sector and the vehicle industry have high demands when it comes to connectivity. Daily heavy loads and varying environmental conditions pose special challenges. In these sectors, the trend is moving from manual assembly to overmolded and ready-to-use connectivity. The advantages of this solution are obvious: a lower error rate and faster, cost-effective cabling with higher reliability.
The Deutsch-DT design connector product range combines all these advantages in one product. It is no longer field-wireable components, but a one-shot solution developed at ESCHA from the ground up.
The connectors are available in the typical 2-, 4- and 6-pole versions, in male and female. In combination with the exclusive ESCHA PUR cable "S370" they are true all-rounders. The user can choose between single-ended cable sets with open cable ends and double-ended cable sets with overmolded connectors in Deutsch-DT design on the B-side. As usual with ESCHA and at your request, various modification options are available. For example, with threads for protective hoses or connecting cables with an M12 connector on the B-side.
High safety and clarity
All connectors in Deutsch-DT design meet the high requirements of protection classes IP67, IP68 and IP69. The moulded release lug prevents unintentional disconnection under load and increases safety. A cast dovetail can also be used for installation. With matching original accessories such as coloured marking rings, you can further enhance the clarity of your application.
Complete range for mobile automation
In addition to the new connectors in Deutsch-DT design, ESCHA also offers M12 connectors with plastic locking nuts. Their robustness makes them a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel. The M12 connectors withstand extreme temperatures from -30°C to +90°C, contain UV stabilisers so they do not become porous or rough, and can be easily removed from enclosures containing pressurised water, mud or oil. Their unique design allows them to be tightened both by hand and with a torque spanner and they meet the IP67, IP68 and IP69 protection classes afterwards.
