Active compensation with Merus Power
The Merus A2 Active Harmonic Filter (AHF) is designed for the dynamic compensation of harmonic currents, reactive power and load imbalance. The filter continuously measures the load and immediately generates the required compensation current. This reduces harmonic currents, improves the Power Factor and allows the available capacity of transformers, cables and other electrical infrastructure to be utilised more effectively. Thanks to its modular design, the filter capacity can be adapted to the installation and expanded later if required.
