3D detection without detours - SensoPart DTECT® Object 3D
The days when 3D detection automatically required cameras, lighting, software and extensive configuration are behind us. With the DTECT® Object 3D, SensoPart shows that 3D detection can also be practical and directly applicable, even in a compact industrial housing.
Object-based 3D detection
Instead of contrast or colour, the DTECT® Object 3D evaluates objects based on shape, height and volume. This spatial information is not presented as an image but translated directly into a simple OK/NOK signal. An external PC or visionsoftware is not required. Connect, teach in, ready.
Suitable for dynamic processes
The underlying active stereo technology with infrared projection ensures stable and reproducible measurements, even with homogeneous, dark or reflective objects. With a scan rate of up to 100 images per second, detection remains reliable, even when objects move, tilt or are only briefly visible. Configuration is carried out directly on the sensor via the integrated colour display and three control buttons, or via IO-Link. Read more about IO-Link.
A practical alternative to vision
This positions the DTECT® Object 3D between classic sensors and complete vision solutions. Additional mechanics or complex vision setups are often no longer required, while additional detection information becomes available. This makes the sensor suitable for applications such as completeness checks, orientation checks and reliable presence detection in, among others, machine building, logistics and assembly.
