Reliable connections for energy storage
Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and photovoltaic (PV) systems place high demands on electrical connections. High currents and large cable cross-sections must be connected safely and reliably, while the solution must also be cost-effective and easy to install. ILME responds to this with a dedicated Green Energy portfolio of modular connectors, developed for applications in energy storage and solar energy.
Modular building blocks for power and safety
The MIXO inserts are suitable for currents up to 300 A and cable cross-sections up to 120 mm². Thanks to the IP2X touch protection, the connections are safe at phase voltages up to 1,600 V. For quick and error-free installation, there are self-centering docking frames made of thermoplastic, enabling direct Click-In assembly of up to six MIXO modules. For grounding, ILME offers the MIXO protective earth modules CX 01 GPE (up to 35 mm²) and CX 01 30PE (up to 120 mm²).
Integration of data and communication
In addition to power and grounding connections, communication channels are also important in modern ESS and PV solutions. ILME provides MIXO fibre-optic modules, including for fibre optics, POF and MOST. The CX 04 SC module with standardised SC connectors (push-pull mechanism) enables a safe and interference-free fibre-optic connection. This brings together power transmission, grounding and data communication (for example via Industrial Ethernet or fibre optics) in a single compact interface.
