Inxpect C201B-C CIP Safety™ control unit for radar sensors
The range of Inxpect products is expanding with the new C201B-C CIP Safety™ control unit for radar sensors. This control unit was specially developed for industrial applications where safety and network integration play a crucial role.
CIP (Common Industrial Protocol)
The unique feature of the C201B-C, compared to other control units, is its use of the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), ensuring smooth integration with existing industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP. The Ethernet fieldbus provides a connection between the control unit and the machine’s PLC, allowing the exchange of complex information, such as the operator's real-time position. This enables rapid integration with existing machine fieldbuses. Additionally, all configurations and login data can be stored directly on a microSD card within the unit.
Control unit for AGVs and MIRs
The C201B-C CIP Safety™ is highly versatile and offers dynamic detection field configurations, allowing real-time switching between up to 32 different settings. This is especially useful in mobile applications such as autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) and mobile industrial robots (MIRs), which require flexible detection fields to adapt to constantly changing conditions.
Various inputs and outputs
The C201B-C CIP Safety™ offers a wide range of inputs and outputs, including two safety outputs that can be used for one or multiple detection fields. Furthermore, the unit includes functions such as a restart signal, system recovery, and a configurable muting signal. These features make the system suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, from simple to very complex installations.
