Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration: tactile feedback during operation
The Smart Dot 50 Touch from Auer Signal combines touch operation and visual signalling in one compact unit. The flat operating surface is easy to clean and contains no moving parts. Compared with a mechanical push button, however, there is one clear difference: you do not feel the button being pressed.
Direct confirmation through tactile feedback
With the new Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration, Auer Signal adds tactile feedback to the existing touch operation. As soon as the touch button is activated, it produces a short vibration. This gives the user immediate confirmation that the touch has been registered. The touch button uses a capacitive sensor that can also be operated while wearing gloves.
Operation and signalling combined
In addition to tactile feedback, the Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration features three-colour LED signalling. The LED signalling can be used to indicate different machine or process statuses. Three signal modes are available: steady light, colour change and High Intensity Beat, a distinctive light pattern designed to attract additional attention.
Easy to integrate or replace
Like the entire Smart Signaling 50 series, the Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration uses a standard M22 mounting hole (22 mm). This allows existing signal lights or push buttons to be replaced one-to-one. An adapter is available for installations with a 30 mm mounting hole. Electrical connection is via a 5-pin M12 connector. With a protection rating of up to IP69K, the Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration is also suitable for demanding industrial and hygienic environments.

Part of the Smart Signaling 50 series
The Smart Dot 50 Touch Vibration is part of the Smart Signaling 50 series from Auer Signal. This series has been developed as a modular platform for industrial signalling, allowing different versions and function lines to be combined within one uniform platform.
Three function lines
The series is available in three function lines. The Basic line is designed for fixed signalling with one, two or three colours and predefined signal modes. The Standard line adds further functionality, including multiple colours and additional internal monitoring. With the IO-Link line, settings, status and diagnostic information are available via the control system, enabling central adjustment and continuous monitoring.
From compact signal light to complete signal tower
In addition to the Smart Dot , the series also includes the Smart Indicator and, during 2026, the Smart Tower, covering applications from compact signalling to multi-level or more extensive signalling.
Different variants are also available, including the Smart Dot 50 Touch with capacitive operation, which combines signalling and operation, as well as versions with a stainless steel housing for demanding environments, such as the food and beverage industry, where both appearance and hygiene are important. In addition to stainless steel, versions are also available in black and white to suit different machine and design environments.
Easy to expand and replace
The Smart Signaling 50 series is designed for continuous industrial use and has a uniform platform across the different versions within the series. All signal lights operate on an 18–30 V DC supply, have an LED service life of up to 60,000 hours and operate at temperatures from –40 °C to +70 °C. The series complies with UL Type 4 / 4X, supporting reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
Thanks to this uniform design, signal lights within the series can be easily installed, replaced or expanded. The different versions are designed to work together, making it easy to scale up or switch between versions within the series. That is why we continue to say:
