In industrial processes the traceability of parts an increasingly important role. Therefore, these parts are more and more often equipped with a 1D or 2D-code. These can be applied with a label, or directly on the product encoded by laser marking or peening dot.

The code reader from the VISOR® series read numerous types of barcodes and data matrix codes. With different lenses and lighting variations, even the smallest printed or marked codes on a hard surface (curved, reflective, rough) can be read reliably.

Higher resolution for even more stability when reading codes
With the visor® code reader v20 standard, sensopart expands its range of vision cameras with a version for standard applications that require a higher image resolution, such as reading simple printed barcodes.
Until now, only the advanced and professional variants of the visor® v20 code reader with the high image resolution of 1.5 megapixels (1440 x 1080 pixels) had the possibility to read 1d/2d codes and ocr, in addition to many additional functions.
