The Ex 97 series from steute has already proven itself for complex applications in explosive hazardous areas. The Ex ES 97 has now been expanded with three new position switches. These new position switches, where flexibility and easy integration into (existing) systems are paramount, are a perfect addition to the already existing position switches. This series includes three position switches suitable for use in Ex (ATEX) zones 1 and 21.
Ex ES 97 in three versions
The contact block (slow-action, 1NC/1NO forced contact) of these Ex ES 97 position switches is extremely robust and durable. They are available in three versions: with a pushbutton, a standard-compliant emergency stop button, and a lockable selector switch. Additional actuator variants are available upon request. Enclosure
These new Ex ES 97 position switches feature a compact, glass fibre-reinforced, thermoplastic enclosure with a mounting diameter of only 22.5 mm. Due to these small dimensions, these position switches are easy to integrate into new or existing machines and installations. Naturally, the enclosure is shock-resistant and self-extinguishing (UL 94 V-0). The position switches are supplied with an explosion-proof cable gland (M20x1.5) included.
