Universal energy meter
Universal meters from Janitza are available in both panel mounted and DIN rail versions and can be equipped with various communication protocols. Depending on the type, the meters are provided with sufficient memory to store measurement profiles.
Determine the right load
Contemporary measurement technology, coupled with high sample rates, ensures precise measurement of the power consumption of electronic loads like frequency converters, LED lighting, and charging stations. This way there are no 'holes' in the consumption measurement and the correct load is determined. The UMG 96RM series is suitable for panel mounting while the UMG 103-CBM is suitable for DIN rail mounting.
Interfacing
Depending on the model, the Janitza Universal Meters are delivered with different bus protocols. Modbus RTU over RS485, Modbus TCP over IP, Profibus, Profinet, Bacnet IP, M-Bus, making it possible to integrate into almost all overhead systems.

The universal measurement device UMG 96-PA is the multifunctional powerhouse from Janitza. The meter combines 4 functions in one module. The UMG 96-PA is suitable for energy management, MID meters, power quality monitoring and RCM monitoring. The technical possibilities and the colour screen make this meter, in combination with the 96 x 96mm size, unique in its class. The meter's modular design allows for easy customisation to suit your preferences.
Modularly expanded with 2 analogue inputs
Choose between utilising it selectively as 0-20 mA analogue inputs (e.g., for DC measurement) or as an RCM measurement input with cable break detection and additional temperature measurement.
