Power Quality Analysers

Power quality analysers are used for the continuous measurement and monitoring of voltage quality according to international standards such as EN50160 and IEC61000-2-4. This includes the short-time and long-time flicker, voltage dips, peaks and transients. The Power Quality analysers are equipped with sufficient memory, so that measurement values can be stored in the memory for a long time period. The analysers are delivered in a panel installation variant (UMG 512-PRO) and a DIN rail variant (UMG 605-PRO).

Embedded web interface

Janitza's power quality analysers are equipped with an intuitive web interface for PC, tablet and smartphone. The web interface provides a kWh reporting function, embedded line writer, power quality report generator and an analysis tool for voltage dips and peaks.

Interfacing

All analysers have 2 digital in- and outputs, a temperature measurement input, an Ethernet port (TCP / IP), Profibus and RS485 port. Through these ports, Janitza supports many protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Bacnet, HTTP, with which the analysers can easily be connected to the parent systems.

Features Power Quality Analysers

Area of application

Because the power quality analysers measure voltage quality according to international standards such as the EN50160, the analysers are often used as a control meter on the incoming fields (level 1 measurement), generator fields and in public networks.

Features of the power quality analysers:

  • 4 quadrant measurements in IT, TN and TT networks
  • 5 voltage and 4 current measurement inputs (3 phases + neutral)
  • 2 additional current measurement inputs for differential current measurement
  • Measurement according to IEC61000-4-30 - class A
  • Scan speed: 20kHz
  • Calculation of more than 2000 variables per cycle (200ms)
  • JASIC graphical programming functions
  • Analysis of harmonics, interharmonics and resonances

Embedded Webinterface

Janitza's power quality analysers are equipped with an embedded web interface that makes it possible to visualise measurement values without the use of additional software. A standard browser is sufficient. The responsive design allows good visualisation and operation on a smartphone, tablet and PC.

Web interface functions:

  • Real-time visualisation of all imaginable quantities
  • Integrated consumption manager
  • Embedded line writer for current and historical values
  • Analysis tool for voltage dips, peaks and transients
  • Automatic web-based report generator for power quality
  • Remote control of the power quality analyser

Power Quality Analyser Janitza UMG 512-PRO: insight into consumption, interference and mains voltage quality

Power quality analyser to prevent problems before they actually arise

With a 5th and 6th current transformer input it is possible to continuously monitor earth fault currents. As a result, a periodic insulation test of your installation is no longer necessary. The Janitza UMG 512-PRO is equipped with a temperature input. Events can also be registered for short-term deviations in frequency and/or reactive power. This makes the analyser suitable for measuring generators of, for example, emergency power supplies in critical applications.

Power quality analyser UMG 512-PRO

The Janitza UMG 512-PRO is an all-in-one power quality analyser and measures the voltage quality according to international standards such as EN 50160, IEEE519 and EN 61000-2-4. Power quality problems are quickly detected, because the quality of voltage and current are automatically reported in accordance with the applicable standards. Voltage dips, peaks and transients that can lead to failure are automatically registered and reported via automated e-mail or the web interface. On the integrated website of the power quality analyser, you immediately see the status of the power quality of your electrical installation. The website is accessible via PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone.

Features of the power quality analyser UMG 512-PRO:

  • Measuring voltage quality according to IEC61000-4-30, class A
  • Measuring consumption parameters
  • Measuring power quality parameters such as harmonic to the 63rd order
  • Measuring short interruptions, transients and peaks
  • Measuring earth fault currents

Janitza UMG 605-PRO - Power Quality Analyser

Insight into consumption, faults and mains voltage quality

Short interruptions, dips, harmonics or a too low mains voltage? They can all lead to high costs. With the UMG 605-PRO network analyser from Janitza, these can all be recognized and forwarded via e-mail or SMS. The meter is a PQ analyser, kWh meter with 8 rates, IP gateway, logger, PLC and web server in one housing.
