VISOR® V50 SensoPart

SensoPart presents a new addition to the VISOR® Vision Cameras. The VISOR® V50. With 2560 x 1936 pixels, the new VISOR® V50 offers an image resolution three times larger than standard vision cameras (VGA or 1.5 MP).

These V50 sensors achieve an image quality that previously could only be achieved with expensive, complex vision systems. This makes the VISOR® V50 a user-friendly solution for many applications such as reading 1D / 2D codes and OCR.

The field of view or working distance can be flexibly adjusted by selecting an appropriate C-mount lens. For example, the smallest details can be recognized at a great distance in a small field of view (narrow field of view) while multiple object properties of 1 or more parts can be detected simultaneously with a large field of view (wide field of view).

In certain applications, one VISOR® V50 sensor can replace up to four normal-resolution vision cameras, saving costs and time.

Unique on the market

With a resolution of 5 megapixels, the VISOR® V50 is unique on the market. The Global shutter saves the entire image in one go, after which the processing can take place. Another way of image recording is the rolling shutter. Here, row by row is stored in the chip, so you can get a distorted image with moving parts because the shutter is open longer. By using the Global shutter in the V50, detection is not only faster, but it also provides better results in certain applications - for example, reading small codes at great distances such as 1D moving barcodes.
