EtherCAT P–connectors by ESCHA

ESCHA expands its range with a connector program for EtherCAT P applications. Thanks to the four-pole connection cables and connector chassis parts with P-coding, data and power can be connected simultaneously via one M8x1 connector. The new EtherCAT P connectors have a 360 ° shield according to the IEC 61076-2-104 standard.

Advantages of EtherCAT

The benefits of EtherCAT such as free choice of network topology, optimum bandwidth utilization, high speed, continuity of message processing, highly accurate synchronization and extensive diagnostics are retained with P coding.

Another advantage of EtherCAT P is the possibility to place smaller independent I/O stations in the central switch cabinet, but also decentrally in the process. With this, EtherCAT P opens the way to switchboard-free automation.

Excluding connection errors

The EtherCAT P coding has been developed to exclude connection errors with standard EtherCAT slaves. The EtherCAT P cable prevents all application errors from 24 V I/O level to drives with 400 V AC or 600 V DC and a current of up to 64 A.

The comprehensive EtherCAT-P program

ESCHA has an extensive EtherCAT-P program with connection cables and connector chassis parts in straight or right-angled versions. The black-red cable is available as AWG22 and AWG24 variants. For all EtherCAT standard applications, ESCHA has four-pole M8x1 connectors with A-coding, four-pole M12x1 connectors with D-coding and RJ45 connectors.
